and they all went down the road, without me...to New Mexico that is to Ghost Ranch for the Spring show of the Art Through The Loom Guild, which I am a relatively new member of since last Fall. None of these four rugs has been to New Mexico before so I hope they have a grand adventure.

Fresh Off the Loom!

Finishing work to do yet, but I am very happy with the outcome. It came alive when I took it off the loom!

Spring in Arkansas

The peonies are blooming at the gardens down the road and Spring is everywhere here. Here are some beautiful peonies and the prettiest little baby sweater you ever did see. Fibertwin knitted this up for a new addition to her brother's family. It is so sweet. What a lucky baby!

New Horizons

I am deciding that I really do work better under pressure. I didn't think so, but my efforts to accomplish 2 brand new rugs for the Ghost Ranch Show May 1st have produced some weaving frenzy in me it seems. As a result here are a few shots of my work in progress...

Just the Finishing to do...

The rug is finished except for all the fixing up and sewing in and trimming and well, the finishing work. Now on to the next to try to have 4 wool rugs go to the Ghost Ranch show the end of this month... and here are a few shots of the yard,etc. I forgot to mention new kids, too. Maribelle and Oscar.
