I guess it is time for some Fiber

Isn't this cool? I came across this picture yesterday and just had to share. Some folks in Australia really had fun making this.

But I can't stop it with these flower pictures. I have the good fortune to live across from a peony farm out here on the edges of Fayetteville, AR and the view is wonderful.

Am I the Only One?

Who likes foreign matter in my weavings? I like to see the straw that is still in the natural wool sometimes. I know other folks can't stand that, but it is one of the "organic" things I like about weaving with rug wool. Here are a few shots of my newest color combo and of course the great outdoors.

My neighbor across the road just brought down these lovely tree peonies for my birthday aren't they just wonderful? Thank you, Henri! I guess Spring really is here. Happy Spring!

Socks and Socks

I don't think I will be using Madeline Tosh yarns again for socks. I diligently used those tiny ones and knitted and knitted and knitted some more , but I don't have the look I want with this yarn. It is a beautiful color, but somehow it does not look like I want the socks to. Now this Opal is a treat; the color patterns will be interesting when I get farther along in the sock. This is fun. Why else knit socks? For fun and for love.
