Summer Weekend, New Projects on the Horizon

I am finally in a forward moving motivated place. The work of other fiber artists is so renewing to me. I get ideas and feel inspired just by seeing their creations and reading what they have to say.

June Garlic Harvest and of course flowers...

Well, I guess I should say something, but pictures do say it all sometimes, don't they? It is summer, things are growing, things are already changing. The pool on the deck is full as is life. I am going to go float, what about you?

Ghost Ranch Show Pictures...

At Ghost Ranch Museum near Abiqui, New Mexico I have four of the rugs I have woven hanging in a show with the other members of Art Through The Loom Guild of which I am a member. My friend Michelle was kind enough to shoot some pictures of them hanging there since the show will be down by the time I get there next month. What a thrill for me to see my work hanging in Georgia O'Keefe's Ghost Ranch Museum. The talent of the other weavers far surpasses mine and I am honored to be in their guild.

Daylilies and Inspiration

Well, I was going to try to keep it to fiber, but life is so beautiful around here in my gardens that I just have to post a few more pictures of these striking lilies...Shot of red lily just beginning to open about 7:30 AM and then fully opened by 1PM and then the rosy ones and the yellows are so yellow and buttery...
